Flesh Beauty is a brand new to me and a brand launched last year in 2018 by Linda Wells, founding editor of Allure and current chief creative officer at Revlon. Flesh is said to have launched with products and foundation shades that are realistic with a diverse range, from frothy ivory to rich espresso. From the liquid lipsticks, the glosses, the blushes – everything is vibrant, bold, and flattering on fair skin tones, deep skin tones, and everything in between. The Flesh Beauty packaging and the logo are gloriously retro. I have few products I have tried from the brand – Flesh Swipe Flesh Lip compact, Tender Flesh Blush, Touch Flesh Highlighting Balm, Ripe Flesh Glisten Drops, and Fleshy Lips Sheer Lipstick.
Flesh Swipe Flesh Lip compact is a lipstick in a flat compact with a fingerprint in the product itself. The formula is creamy and glides on nicely on the lips. The finish is satin matte and is easily buildable. It applies perfectly with a finger or a lip brush and is also perfect for on the go lip tint and blush. The shade Jiggly is a dusty rose shade which is perfect for everyday use on most of the skin tones.
Tender Flesh Blush is a soft, lush powder blush which is very pigmented. The formula is soft and velvety, blends nicely into the skin.
Touch Flesh Highlighting Balm is a sheer, luminous highlighting stick which is very easy to apply and blends in nicely into the skin. The result is a beautiful glow which looks very natural on the skin. The formula is creamy and lightweight, glides on nicely on the skin. The shade startle works nicely as a highlighter on the high points of the face.
Ripe Flesh Glisten Drops is a liquid highlighter to illuminate the skin. It can be used alone or can be mixed with foundation or moisturizer to get a beautiful glowy finish. The formula is smooth and blends in nicely into the skin. 210 Aura has a pinkish tone to it and helps brighten up the skin, would be more suitable for lighter skin tones.
Fleshy Lips Sheer Lipstick is a sheer, soft lipstick, part of the 10 shades of carefully conceived nudes for every skin color. It gives a subtle hint of color and moisture to the lips. It is creamy yet lightweight and comfortable to wear. ‘The bullet has a cool tapered edge that works to define and contour lips; fill in with the full surface, starting at the center of the lips.'
