Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is the cult super powder since 2006, it has been loved and raved by many. There is a special thing in the product that makes it cult favorite and this is no doubt one of those products which was, is, and will always be loved for what it does. Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is described as a loose powder with a fusion of four complimentary, complexion-refining shades that together, create a made-to-measure, color-correcting finish.
Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is said to give the surreal skin perfection in four natural shades. Each color combination evens out the appearance of skin tone while enhancing radiance and keeping shine under the utmost control. Upon application, imperfections appear diminished and skin looks more even and porcelain in nature, with a lasting, radiant, matte finish. The formula and the pigments are treated with an exclusive, technological atomization process that creates a perfectly uniform and natural-looking result.
Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is the first ever loose powder that combines 4 shades to set makeup, color correct, and illuminate the skin. The harmony of four lightly tinted shades unifies and enhances your complexion’s natural radiance. The sheer silky formula won’t ever turn chalky on the skin. The active ingredients in Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder include Polymer and Talc Complex to absorb excess sebum and mattify skin, Silica, and Mica to blur imperfections and increase radiance, Vitamin E to provide anti-oxidant protection.

Givenchy Poudre Première Mat & Translucent-Finish Loose Powder
The powder is very finely milled and comes in a beautiful square shaped Givenchy cube. The sifter holes form the Givenchy logo which looks so pretty. There are four separate squares for each shade. I have been using these powders for quite some time now and do feel they are really amazing. They blend into the skin seamlessly without giving any feeling of powder on the face. It does not sit into the imperfections or the lines. I do notice it kind of blurs the imperfections and gives a more even-toned skin. I use it as setting powder and it gives me a nice radiant finish which is semi-matte but not overly flat kind of matte. Please note that I prefer glowy finish so I use a less quantity of this. The packaging of the powder can make it sometimes hard to get just the right amount of powder out but with use, you get the hold of how much you need to tilt it to get the right amount out of the case. I tilt a little less than 45 degrees and tip it over the cap, mix all the four shades with the brush, tap off the excess and apply. It does not emphasize the dry areas on my skin but makes my skin look radiant and fresh. Every time you use it, there is a very little amount you need, and even after using one for 3 years, I still haven’t made a dent in my first jar. I did not notice any oxidation or grey cast from these powders. It does not creases or settles in the lines, even on my mom’s skin, she is in her late 50s. The powder has fragrance, it is flowery and subtle, goes away pretty fast after application. The powder stays on pretty well for whole day and I usually don’t need any touchups with it, the natural glow is all I see all day.
Givenchy Poudre Première Mat & Translucent-Finish Loose Powder is a universal, transparent loose finishing powder for the face that imparts radiant complexion throughout the day. Nicolas Degennes’ featherlike, superfine, and comfortable powder applies completely sheer, and gives skin an even, matte, and naturally radiant complexion. Apply it to make-up to extend wear, or for complete simplicity, apply it over the bare or primed skin. Givenchy Poudre Première Mat & Translucent-Finish Loose Powder comes in a chic, rock-and-roll-inspired black enamel case. It includes a white microfiber powder puff.
If you are more into translucent powders, this is a must try. It is very finely milled, silky and gives the beautiful radiant finish. It is great to apply under the eyes or for the whole face. It just melts into the skin to give a beautiful glow and finish, the face does not look cakey at all. It does not settle into the imperfections and staying power is really good. Keeps my makeup intact for the whole day and the oiliness is not noticed. In the below pictures is the travel version of Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder in the universal shade to color correct 1 Mousseline Pastel.
Overall, the powders worth checking out and trying, worth the price and all the hype. A very little amount is all you need and I don’t see it going anywhere for years to come, in the context of getting over. Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder in all the shades mentioned above and the Givenchy Poudre Première Mat & Translucent-Finish Loose Powder is available at Sephora, Sephora Canada, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Holt Renfrew.
