Omorovicza Silver Skin Saviour Mask has become a staple in my skincare routine since it launched last year, I reviewed it here in the past. I always wished for more products in this range as the mask suited my problem skin so well and when I saw the first glimpse online that there is something new coming to the range – and that too, not one but two products – it felt like they heard me. My excitement aside, there are is a new lotion and tonic added to the Silver Skin range – Silver Skin Tonic and Silver Skin Lotion.
Silver Skin Tonic is described as a daily solution to tackle blemishes and break-outs, Silver Skin Tonic combines a potent blend of colloidal silver, niacinamide and salicylic acid to gently tackle blemish-inducing bacteria. Skin is left feeling soothed and healed and the complexion appears more even and refined.
For the ingredients – a really nice combination for the problem skin types –
- Colloidal Silver known for its powerful antibacterial properties, targets skin infections, making it a superb topical treatment for blemishes and imperfections.
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) reveals a more even and refined tone, as well as helping to control sebum production.
- Salicylic Acid also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid, penetrates below the skin’s surface, dissolving the debris that clogs pores and causes breakouts. By tackling skin imperfections at the source, salicylic acid is considered one of the most effective ingredients for clearing the complexion.
- Omorovicza’s Patented Healing Concentrate™ leaves skin firmer, suppler and more youthful in appearance.
It is basically a treatment lotion to be applied after cleansing the skin and before any serum or moisturizer. It has a herbal kind of smell, is watery and applies well with a cotton pad. It sinks into the skin nicely without leaving any residue or sticky feeling. I have been using it quite a lot since last weeks in combination with other products and sometimes just on its own before the Silver Skin Lotion. I see there are fewer blemishes, the pores look small and skin looks evener. It also gives a mattifying effect on the skin.
Silver Skin Lotion harnesses the power of anti-bacterial colloidal silver, niacinamide and zinc to reducing skin imperfections and blemishes. Zinc provides essential daily protection against pollution and environmental stress, whilst hyaluronic acid delivers healthy, hydrated skin. Lightweight, yet effective, this oil-free cooling lotion absorbs instantly, leaving skin hydrated mattified and shine-free.
I use this lightweight creamy formula as a moisturizer that sinks into the skin quickly. It definitely soothes my problem skin even when it is irritated. As it mattifies the skin while working as a topical treatment to tackle the breakouts and pigmentation while providing hydration. I did not feel my skin is dry after using this moisturizer – as I prefer a dewy finish to my skin, I follow with my sunscreen that gives me a dewy finish if it’s daytime – otherwise I use few drops of my face oil as a finishing layer or just keep it as is for the night. As the key ingredients in the Silver Skin Saviour Mask, Silver Skin Tonic and this lotion are almost the same – so it does help with breakouts, evens out skin tone, helps with pores, soothes skin, and mattifies while providing hydration.
I am happy with both the products – new additions to the Omorovicza Silver Skin range. Follow me on Instagram to see the video and pictures of the texture and how I use these. Omorovicza products are available at Nordstrom stores, Four Seasons Toronto, Sephora Canada, and online at www.omorovicza.com.*Press samples
I have been using Kerastase Discipline range for a few weeks now and I am glad to try this amazing range – my hair has been more manageable, soft, and look healthy. I have used Kerastase products in the past and I just checked my blog – it was one of the few brands that I was using when I started blogging – the post is from 2015. And after that, I have used the Elixir Ultime Hair Oil and few hair styling products which I did share on my Instagram but they did not make it to the blog – I liked them though. Anyways, coming back to the Discipline range from Kerastase which targets frizzy hair to smooth them as well as add definition to the unruly hair. I have been using the shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask from Discipline range – names as Bain Fluidealiste Curl Shampoo, Fondant Fluidealiste Curl Conditioner, and Maskeratine Hair Mask.
Bain Fluidealiste Curl Shampoo is a sulphate free shampoo for frizzy hair that helps to restore flexibility and discipline for perfect hair movement, providing frizz control and protecting against humidity. This shampoo is gently cleanses my hair as well as my problem scalp.
Fondant Fluidealiste Curl Conditioner is a conditioner for frizzy hair designed to get rid of frizzy hair. This hair conditioner provides suppleness and shine to the hair with a lightweight finish. This smoothing treatment help provides softness to hair and frizz control.
Maskeratine Hair Mask is a hair mask for frizzy hair designed to tame frizzy hair. It is a deep conditioning hair mask that tame frizzy hair, making the hair smooth and soft to the touch. It also provides protection against humidity and is lightweight – does not weigh down the hair.
Overall, such an amazing range. I was not very sure if this is something for my frizzy wavy-curly medium hair but after using the products, this range never made my hair weigh down despite being nourishing. My hair is soft and manageable, look healthy. My scalp even is less irritated and comfortable. I use heat on my hair every time I wash them and the nourishment this range provides keeps my hair in check – not that I do not use heat protectant but the meaning is that my hair feels smooth and healthy. Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate is not new to me, I have loved it since a long time – I had a detailed review last year on my blog here. At a time, I am trying many products which means there are only special products for which I hit the bottom – means I empty them – and this is one of those products – I am on my third bottle of it. Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate helps to boost the skin’s inner defences and prevent damage, allowing beauty to bloom from within.
The skin is smooth, radiant, and resilient complexion with this dewy formula housed in a bottle designed by Tokyo-based artist Hideki Inaba – the packaging is stamped with this Tokyo-based animator’s signature flair. Ultimune’s rich, dewy texture absorbs immediately and feels like an invisible veil of protection. Concerns clear up quickly and diminish further over time. Skin looks smooth, supple, and deeply radiant, with unwavering strength and vitality from within. It is suitable for all skin types.
• Use in the morning and evening after cleansing and softening, before other skincare treatments.
• Push the pump twice to dispense formula onto the palm of the hand and smooth evenly over the face.
• For all skin types. Dermatologist-tested. Non-comedogenic. Paraben-free. Mineral oil-free.

From Shiseido Holiday 2018 collection, I reviewed the Shiseido ModernMatte Powder Lipstick Expressive Deluxe Mini Set – Ribbonesia Limited Edition here last year – it was one of the most beautiful lip set last year and so is this new one launched for 2019 – the shades, high pigmentation, creamy comfortable formula – and the new + regular shades – a lovely collection.
