A new version of Sisley Paris Phyto-Teint Eclat foundation has just launched called Phyto-Teint Eclat Ultra foundation. I have not tried the Phyto-Teint Eclat foundation so I am not going to be comparing both but definitely sharing about the newest foundation from Sisley and my thoughts about it since it has been few weeks I have been using it. Sisley Paris Phyto-Teint Ultra Eclat Skincare Foundation is a ‘radiance-activating’ foundation with an enriched skincare formula and ultra-velvety finish. The foundation definitely brings in more radiance, more skincare, and more shades.
Sisley Paris Phyto-Teint Ultra Eclat Skincare Foundation has ingredients that activate radiance, minimizes imperfections and signs of fatigue while delivering radiance. The formula keeps the skin hydrated all day without any signs of drying or patchy finish. That means the skin is soft and radiant all day without being dull. There is a blurring effect that boosts smooth and beautiful skin. The formula is oil-free and works perfectly for all skin types looking for natural radiance and velvety finish.
This foundation has been working pretty well for my combination skin during the summers and I can already say that it is going to be working the same in fall and winter too. It feels very light on the skin and blends beautifully. With my skin type which has dry areas on the skin some days, it did not accentuate them but kept everything looking well all day. The foundation provides medium buildable coverage. With regular use, I have been noticing my skin is really enjoying it with minimal breakouts and skin looks fresh, luminous, and even. The foundation applies well with a foundation brush or with fingers, I prefer brush though.
The foundation has a pretty good staying power too which is a very important point for me and you might resonate with me. I want my makeup to look almost as-is from the time I applied until I take it off. This has held up pretty well for over 10 hours, only the natural dewy glow mixed with my skin’s natural oils coming up by the evening. This foundation is definitely a good one and I recommend you to go check out. Sisley Paris Phyto-Teint Ultra Eclat Skincare Foundation is available in 14 shades out of which 3 are new, you can match your shade or mix two shades to make it your skin’s match as I am doing, I mix shade 3 Natural and shade 4 Honey.
With some amazing new launches for fall, I am really enjoying them as I test the products. I reviewed the new Velvet Sleeping Mask with Saffron flowers a few weeks back here which has become a staple and highly recommend, especially for fall and winter. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is no doubt one of the best concealers out there and in my known-circle, there is no-one who has not tried this concealer, I mean it is that good. The good news is that the cult-favourite concealer is available in a mini version called Mini Radiant Creamy Concealer – a version perfect to carry with you and affordable enough if you are new to it.
Nars radiant creamy concealer in the mini size is perfect for touch-ups on the go. The formula is creamy, buildable, blendable, hydrating, and the finish is naturally radiant. The shades range from light to darkest and available in 30 shades. The concealer has been loved by makeup artists, beauty editors, and makeup lovers equally for its ability to correct, highlight, and contour. Another amazing thing about it is the staying power of it, it keeps the area natural and flawless for all day long.
For the amount of work it does, Radiant Creamy Concealer is an all-purpose product – works as a concealer, brightener, corrector, and even highlighter – one product that does it all to make you look awake and alive. The formula is enriched with hydrating, multi-action skincare benefits and light diffusing technology which instantly obscures imperfections and diminishes fine lines and signs of fatigue with a luxurious texture and luminous finish. It is not the first time I have tried this concealer but it was one of the first concealers I bought almost a decade ago and I remember I fell in love with it instantly.
Below are the shade descriptions for all the 20 shades I swatched in the pictures below:

It does not set into the fine lines or problem areas but just blends in making the skin look luminous and healthy, nothing like a mask. It provides sheer to medium buildable coverage. There is no fragrance and does not cause me any irritation or congestion on the skin. I usually do not feel the need to set the concealer but it works pretty well both ways – with or without setting it with a powder. I use it under the eyes to brighten the area and then on the sides of my nose where it is a bit dark during this time of the year due to over oil secretion. Using this concealer, I never feel I have anything on, it is very lightweight and blends into the skin effortlessly.
I have used this formula and concealer for years and can definitely recommend you guys to check it out if you haven’t yet and for all the fans of this concealer, yay to the mini version. Cleansing is the first step in the skincare routine with which the whole ritual of skincare begins. The effectiveness of the skincare products in the skincare routine depends on the first step – cleansing. With cleansing, I mean the skin which is clean, not stripped of natural oils, not dry, not irritated but comfortable. La Prairie has launched two new cleansing products this summer called Supreme Balm Cleanser and Crystal Micellar Water Eyes Face which definitely elevate the skincare ritual from ordinary to extraordinary.
‘A perfect complexion begins with perfectly clean skin. Purified, detoxified, moisturized skin is the clear canvas on which the very art of beauty rests.’ It is my personal experience that when my skin is thoroughly cleansed, my skin looks and feels healthier with no to minimal congestion, it is radiant, and healthy-looking.
Supreme Balm Cleanser is a deep cleansing balm to start of the indulgent cleansing ritual not just to remove makeup but also to help shed the day’s stress and leave skin perfectly clean.
Basically, good thorough cleansing does not strip the skin of its hydration or natural defences which is what this Supreme Balm Cleanser does. The Supreme Balm Cleanser undergoes a surprising and delightful transformation on the skin, beginning as a rich balm before transforming first into a sumptuous oil and then into a gentle, milky emulsion. It dissolves makeup as well as pollutants, dirt and impurities for gentle yet thorough cleansing of the entire face. The result is soft supple skin with a velvety feel.
To use ‘Wth the spatula, collect a generous dollop of balm and dispense it into the palm of the hand. Using fingertips, apply on perfectly dry skin by massaging in a circular motion, starting at the forehead, passing along the nose, over cheeks and along the jawline. Continue to massage until the balm transforms into a silky oil. Splash face with lukewarm water to transform the oil into a milky emulsion, continuing the massage gesture. Rinse until the skin feels clean and free of residue. Gently wipe face using one of the delicate muslin cloths provided for a light exfoliation that leaves skin perfectly clean and smooth. Follow with the rest of the skincare ritual.’
Crystal Micellar Water Eyes Face is an essential, one-gesture cleansing ritual that combines Liquid Crystal technology with the indulgence of pure, clear Swiss glacier water to leave skin perfectly pristine. With the busy routine of the day, there is sometimes not enough time to carry on with the full cleansing ritual to remove makeup, pollutants and other impurities where this Crystal Micellar Water comes into the picture. Crystal Micellar Water Eyes Face is a gentle yet effective cleansing micellar water that attracts makeup and other impurities and binds to them so they can then be swept away, all without drying out the skin.
Crystal Micellar Water Eyes Face removes all impurities and makeup without the use of water while the rich fusion of antioxidants protects the skin at the same time. The skin is clean, refreshed, hydrated, soothed, and healthy-looking. I personally use this cleanser as my third cleanse during the normal days, it gives an extra dose of good antioxidants to my skin and my skin is ready for the rest of the skincare ritual to attain the maximum benefit of the products followed by it. On the days when I am travelling or too tired, it is definitely a go-to to cleanse my face and that too as a second cleanse. It never irritates my eyes and also removes the mascara and every bit of makeup.
To use, ‘Use anytime for a thorough cleansing. Dispense onto a cotton pad and gently press over one eye. Wait for a few seconds to allow the formula to begin dissolving eye makeup, then gently sweep the cotton pad from inner to outer corner. Repeat on another eye, using a fresh pad. Proceed to the rest of the face, sweeping product-infused cotton pads over forehead, nose, cheeks, jawline and neck until the pads no longer show any signs of makeup or other impurities.’
Apart from the new cleansing launches from La Prairie, there are new colour launches from the brand which I reviewed here a few weeks back.
For the Supreme Balm Cleanser and Crystal Micellar Water Face Eyes, I am really enjoying them for my skin – the ‘Rolls Royce of Cleansers’ and would highly recommend you to try these out in stores or get a sample, they are well worth the investment when it comes to their skincare benefits. La Prairie is available at Holt Renfrew, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
