Sisley Paris is a brand, the more products I try from them, whether skincare or makeup, the more I trust them. I am hooked on the Sisley-Paris Instant Correct Color Correcting Primer, Sisley-Paris Phyto-Khol Star, and the Sisley-Paris Phyto-Lip Twist Matte which I use every single day as many of you asked on my Instagram stories, which I reviewed here. I am talking about my essentials from the brand which I am absolutely adoring these days and hence are the essentials for anyone who loves the brand or who wants to get started with the Sisley Paris makeup products. I have a roundup of my essentials, which include Sisleÿa Le Teint Anti-aging foundation, Instant Eclat, Phyto-Blush Twist, and Phyto-Lip Twist which I have been testing since last few weeks and you will see more products in the pictures below which I will link for their detailed review.
Sisley Paris Sisleÿa Le Teint Anti-aging foundation
Sisley Paris Sisleÿa Le Teint Anti-aging foundation (CAD $220) is described as an anti-aging fluid foundation which provides a youthful effect make-up, instantly and throughout the day. The complexion is radiant (complex of 2 Micas and ultra-pure pigments), the skin is smooth (unique smoothing base), make-up stays perfect for 8 hours (Sisley Color Expert technology). Its skin care formula combines many powerful anti-aging ingredients based on the latest Sisley research. Most notably, it is formulated with Persian Acacia extract, a key ingredient of Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Age, for cellular energy*, a source of radiance. The skin is more luminous and even–instantly and with continued usage. Signs of fatigue are minimized. In 4 weeks, the face appears smoother and more firm. The appearance of wrinkles is diminished. Skin is moisturized, plumped and firmer.
I have been using it for last three or so weeks and absolutely impressed with the formula. I would say, it has all the right ingredients and the formula which gives anti-aging benefits along with the giving the complexion enhancement. The formula just melts into the skin and gives a really beautiful youthful radiant complexion. The finish looks radiant and very natural. The staying power is really amazing, it last whole day on my combination skin tone. I do use a primer and setting powder on my t zone or on the areas I have used concealer. The coverage is medium and buildable. The consistency is good, not too thick or runny, blends in nicely into the skin. The foundation does not oxidize on my skin and stays beautifully radiant all day. Another thing is it did not break me out or have me any sensitivity or irritation. Apart from all the benefits that I can see on my face, means the way it looks to eyes, there are some good ingredients which are full of all the skincare benefits that ideally make it a really good all-in-one foundation. I even got so many compliments on my skin when I was wearing this to a get-together this weekend. This is one of my top 5 foundations and highly recommend you check this out or get a sample to try first.
For my medium tan complexion with yellow undertones, I mix 3.B almond and 4.B chestnut this time of year. I was more of 3.B almond a few weeks back in winter and looking forward to 4.B chestnut in summers. To use this foundation, apply with fingertips or a foundation brush, by patting lightly over the whole face, and if desired, to the neck and décolleté. Smooth the foundation with circular strokes starting from the middle of the face and moving outwards. Start at the base of the face and work upwards to smooth lines. Pat to finish to even out the complexion.
Sisley Paris Instant Eclat
Sisley Paris Instant Eclat (CAD $115) is described as a two-in-one product – an illuminating primer and radiance-boosting skin care. A luminous complexion is easily achievable–including reproducing the same effects taught by professional make-up artists with just one step & product. Instant Eclat immediately revives the complexion’s radiance, erases shadowy areas and signs of tiredness, while it smooths and evens skin texture. A complex of key skincare ingredients (Kiwi extract, Butcher’s Broom extract and Padina pavonica extract), acts on 4 key factors that influence the complexion’s radiance day after day: moisturizing, energizing, toning, and giving a plumped look. Its fresh, evanescent texture feels like a light, second skin.Non-greasy, non-comedogenic and perfectly adhering, it may be applied immediately before or after make-up without the need for drying time.
This is a really great primer if you are all about glowy and radiant skin. I am all about the glow and radiance, which in turn makes your skin look youthful and plump. The consistency is light cream like, very smooth and blends into the skin easily. It makes the skin look fresh, toned, and radiant. I use this both before and after applying the foundation, Before foundation all over the face to boost the foundation’s radiance and hold, After foundation on the contours of the face to catch the light and highlight features. On the days of no-makeup, I use this on its own all over the face to boost the complexion’s natural radiance for a nude, radiant finish. This is a really nice primer, highlighter and an all in one product for the skin to look healthy, toned, energized, and fresh.
Sisley Paris Phyto-Blush Twist
Sisley Paris Phyto-Blush Twist (CAD $85) is described as a blush which is colored as a cream blush, as soft as a powder blush and as fun as a Twist. It has a rounded tip for easy and precise application, even without a mirror. Its cream formula with a unique sensory experience turns to powder upon contact with the skin to provide the benefits of both textures: the unique smoothing velvety finish of a powder in a long-lasting creamy texture. Non-comedogenic, enriched with Camellia oil and Shea oil, it maintains skin hydration. Luminous shades, ready to blush, boost the complexion’s radiance with just a twist.
First of all, the formula is so lightweight and the packaging is so beautiful, just so easy to apply and keep it in your bag too. The formula is very smooth, buildable, and pigmented. It blends in very easily into the skin, like literally melts to give a beautiful flush of color to the cheeks. The finish is a radiant flush of color with staying power for over 7 hours for which I tested. I have shade 2 Fuschia which is really pretty pink flush on the cheeks, just dab the cute little tip of the blush on the apples of the cheeks and I am done.
To use it, apply Phyto-Blush Twist directly to the face. Apply the desired amount of color, then blend with your fingers using circular movements. For optimal highlighting, apply the Glow shade over the shade of your choice.
1- To gently illuminate the complexion and strobe the shape of your face, use the Glow shade on the curved areas of the face.
2- To slim the face, apply the blush to the center of the cheek, then blend toward the temples. Opt for a darker shade.
3- To soften the features, apply the blush to the top of the cheekbones. For perfect application, smile broadly in front of the mirror and apply the color to the apple of the cheek.
Also, in the picture is the Sisley Phyto-Ombre Glow Luminous Eye Shadow which I have been using consistently, especially the shade amber which I reviewed here. Another favorite for eyebrows is the Sisley Paris Phyto-Sourcils Design 3-in-1 Architect Pencil and Sisley Paris Phyto-Sourcils Fix Thickening Gel which I reviewed here and are worth checking out.
Sisley Paris Phyto-Lip Twist
Sisley Paris Phyto-Lip Twist (CAD $65) is described as a tinted balm, colored like a lipstick and shiny like a gloss. It is applied with a single “twist” and leaves the lips supple, moisturized, visibly smoothed and plumped thanks to its cocktail of original plant-based key ingredients. Its ultra-sensory smooth glide-on texture reinvents lipstick. Its luminous, easy-to-wear shades match any occasion, from virtual nude to intense color. Fun and practical, this new XXL pencil does not need a sharpener.
I am really liking the formula of this tinted balm, I would say one of my favorite formula which moisturizes and also gives color to the lips. It is very comfortable to wear, apart from making my lips smoother, I do feel they are soft, hydrated, and plump after the product is worn off. The staying power is nice, keeping in mind it is very hydrating too, it stays on well for over 4 hours with a little tint, I then reapply as and when needed during the day. I have shade 15 nut which is beautiful rosey beige and looks very natural.
To use it, applied like a lipstick the tip is the perfect size for outlining and coloring the lips in a single stroke. Apply a single coat for a sheen of glossy color, or add more for a stronger, stunning flash of color.
Sisley Paris products, Sisleÿa Le Teint Anti-aging foundation, Instant Eclat, Phyto-Blush Twist, and Phyto-Lip Twist, along with my favorites which I reviewed earlier and linked in this post, they are available at Holt Renfrew, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Sisley Paris Official website if you are in the US, and House of Fraser.
Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is the cult super powder since 2006, it has been loved and raved by many. There is a special thing in the product that makes it cult favorite and this is no doubt one of those products which was, is, and will always be loved for what it does. Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is described as a loose powder with a fusion of four complimentary, complexion-refining shades that together, create a made-to-measure, color-correcting finish.
Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is said to give the surreal skin perfection in four natural shades. Each color combination evens out the appearance of skin tone while enhancing radiance and keeping shine under the utmost control. Upon application, imperfections appear diminished and skin looks more even and porcelain in nature, with a lasting, radiant, matte finish. The formula and the pigments are treated with an exclusive, technological atomization process that creates a perfectly uniform and natural-looking result.
Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is the first ever loose powder that combines 4 shades to set makeup, color correct, and illuminate the skin. The harmony of four lightly tinted shades unifies and enhances your complexion’s natural radiance. The sheer silky formula won’t ever turn chalky on the skin. Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is available in below options and shades:

Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder 2 Taffetas Beige for the Healthy Glow. It has beiges, apricot, and yellow shades. The warm tones are perfect for giving a warm healthy glow to the skin. For me, it will be good to use during the summers. For medium, olive, dark, yellow undertones of skin, it will be perfect for all year round. Perfect to set makeup or for under eye.
Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder 3 Organza Caramel for Soft Illuminated Glow. It has cream, peach, cappuccino, dessert shades for the skin providing dreamy tanning. Perfectly sexy without excess. It is great for the dusky skin tones
Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder 7 Voile Rose for Overall Radiant Effect. It has a mix of pinks and mother-of-pearl, the mixture creates a halo of light and radiance. It gives a really fresh effect to the skin, the pinkish shades give a sheer veil of soft glow which is fresh and rosy. It will be great for light skin tones.
Givenchy Poudre Première Mat & Translucent-Finish Loose Powder
The powder is very finely milled and comes in a beautiful square shaped Givenchy cube. The sifter holes form the Givenchy logo which looks so pretty. There are four separate squares for each shade. I have been using these powders for quite some time now and do feel they are really amazing. They blend into the skin seamlessly without giving any feeling of powder on the face. It does not sit into the imperfections or the lines. I do notice it kind of blurs the imperfections and gives a more even-toned skin. I use it as setting powder and it gives me a nice radiant finish which is semi-matte but not overly flat kind of matte. Please note that I prefer glowy finish so I use a less quantity of this. The packaging of the powder can make it sometimes hard to get just the right amount of powder out but with use, you get the hold of how much you need to tilt it to get the right amount out of the case. I tilt a little less than 45 degrees and tip it over the cap, mix all the four shades with the brush, tap off the excess and apply. It does not emphasize the dry areas on my skin but makes my skin look radiant and fresh. Every time you use it, there is a very little amount you need, and even after using one for 3 years, I still haven’t made a dent in my first jar. I did not notice any oxidation or grey cast from these powders. It does not creases or settles in the lines, even on my mom’s skin, she is in her late 50s. The powder has fragrance, it is flowery and subtle, goes away pretty fast after application. The powder stays on pretty well for whole day and I usually don’t need any touchups with it, the natural glow is all I see all day.
Givenchy Poudre Première Mat & Translucent-Finish Loose Powder is a universal, transparent loose finishing powder for the face that imparts radiant complexion throughout the day. Nicolas Degennes’ featherlike, superfine, and comfortable powder applies completely sheer, and gives skin an even, matte, and naturally radiant complexion. Apply it to make-up to extend wear, or for complete simplicity, apply it over the bare or primed skin. Givenchy Poudre Première Mat & Translucent-Finish Loose Powder comes in a chic, rock-and-roll-inspired black enamel case. It includes a white microfiber powder puff.
If you are more into translucent powders, this is a must try. It is very finely milled, silky and gives the beautiful radiant finish. It is great to apply under the eyes or for the whole face. It just melts into the skin to give a beautiful glow and finish, the face does not look cakey at all. It does not settle into the imperfections and staying power is really good. Keeps my makeup intact for the whole day and the oiliness is not noticed. In the below pictures is the travel version of Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder in the universal shade to color correct 1 Mousseline Pastel.
Overall, the powders worth checking out and trying, worth the price and all the hype. A very little amount is all you need and I don’t see it going anywhere for years to come, in the context of getting over. Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder in all the shades mentioned above and the Givenchy Poudre Première Mat & Translucent-Finish Loose Powder is available at Sephora, Sephora Canada, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Holt Renfrew.
I purchased my favorite Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder in the universal shade to color correct – 1 Mousseline Pastel and got one as a gift, so I am giving away one to my reader/follower. Below is the rafflecopter widget to enter for the giveaway:
As Spring approaches, the first thing I change in my daily routine is the fragrance. And when I change the fragrance every season, I do relate the notes with the season as many of you might do. A particular note might feel and smell different to me in particular season and it might be very off for the other. For me, Spring is all about fresh, floral, or fruity notes blended with the base notes of my choice which keep my mood elevated all day. Miu Miu L’Eau Rosée Eau de Toilette is a fresh floral fragrance with the keynotes of Blackcurrant, Lily, and Musk. Miu Miu L’eau Rosée is a new take on the first fragrance from Miu Miu.
Miu Miu L’Eau Rosée Eau de Toilette (CAD $94 – 50ml) is described to capture the spirit of the Miu Miu girl. This soft floral fragrance created from lily of the valley and cassis buds is tightly wrapped in notes of sophisticated musk. The iconic matelassé bottle is magnified by the elegant alchemy of transparent glass and light pink juice, with a contrasting navy blue collar. The nose behind the fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier. The juice is a soft floral created from lily of the valley and cassis buds, tightly wrapped in the notes of sophisticated musk. As the name suggests, Miu Miu L’Eau Rosée is dewy and alive, a brand new olfactory chapter that stays true to the youthful yet erudite Miu Miu story.
This is very beautiful scent, the perfect feminine rose scent. I do not find it very sweet but the perfect blend of sweetness yet light and airy. It feels very pleasant and elegant. The green notes and the floral notes with the base note of musk, what can I ask more, such a beautiful blend and so perfect for the spring and summer. Just want to mention here that Rosée here means ‘dew’ as in dewdrop and not rose, so the focus is on the early spring vibe. The bottle as you see in pictures has matelassé-quilted glass, the navy blue band around the neck with house logo in gold. The bottle is heavy and feels really luxurious.
