Sisley Paris has a new addition to its Phyto-Blanc Collection – and as the entire collection helps with the brightening, luminosity, and protect the skin – the new Sisley-Paris Phyto-Blanc Pure Bright Activating Serum is a clarity enhancing serum that helps with an intense, overall brightening effect and diminishing the look of dark spots.

New Sisley-Paris Phyto-Blanc Pure Bright Activating Serum review

If you already use a Serum in your skincare routine, you might know the importance of why you need a serum in your skincare routine and if you do not use one and are not aware, here is why you need a serum. The serum is designed to be applied in a thin layer after cleansing the skin but before a moisturizer, the formula of a serum delivers concentrated ingredients in a texture that allows it to absorb easily into the skin. The key ingredients in a serum target to address a very particular concern, making it an ideal addition to the daily skincare routine to see visible results in a specific area. In other words, it is a focused, targeted, and concentrated product that targets a specific skin need or concern like dullness, dark spots, wrinkles, dryness, and more.

Based on studies highlighting the phenomenon that makes the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet naturally lighter, Sisley-Paris has discovered a new, unique innovation that helps to bio mimetically reproduce this action in the face. DKK1, a dermal protein specifically produced in the fibroblasts in the palmar and plantar regions, is a natural inhibitor of melanin production. Sisley-Paris is reproducing this natural brightening phenomenon by stimulating the production of DKK1 by non-palmoplantar fibroblasts. Egyptian Myrobalan Extract reduces melanin production by stimulating the production of DKK1 by non- palmoplantar fibroblasts, which offers an intense brightening action on the face.

The formula contains a patented complex of four active ingredients acts on all four stages of melanin production for a targeted anti-dark spot action. This complex fights the appearance of dark spots on the skin’s surface. The external environment (pollution, UV, etc.) and lifestyle (smoking, stress, etc.) cause oxidant and inflammatory micro stresses leading to an imbalance of the melanocyte and the overproduction of melanin. Vitamin E acetate and Alpha-bisabolol of natural origin are powerful soothing antioxidants that fight against the overproduction of melanin.

New Sisley-Paris Phyto-Blanc Pure Bright Activating Serum review

Phyto-Blanc Pure Bright Activating Serum has been a very nice addition to my skincare routine. With combination skin that is prone to congestion and breakouts, my medium skin tone takes forever for the dark spots to fade and I was very excited to try this serum which targets pigmentation and dark spots. After using this serum for over a month now, my skin is brightened and dark spots are reduced. My overall complexion looks luminous and uniform. The creamy fresh texture glides onto the skin and transforms to leave a soft and velvety finish. It sinks into the skin without leaving any residue. I follow with my moisturizer after this serum – both day and night – of course, SPF followed by the moisturizer during the day. The makeup sits on well over it without any issues. My skin does looks bright with faded dark spots – and definitely what I was expecting from this serum. It is suitable for all skin types – I do follow with a hydrating serum or hydrating moisturizer when my skin needs some extra help – especially in this cold weather.

The Phyto-Blanc Pure Bright Activating Serum is available at luxury retailers including Holt Renfrew, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. It is also be available at Sisley-
