It does not have any textured effect, its “wet & dry” formula is soft, silky, imperceptible and buildable at will. The complexion and the eyes are enhanced and sculpted by playing on the points of light. The black lacquered case with pink gold touches contains a star-spangled texture providing a unique glow.

In one simple gesture, its long-lasting formula subtly highlights the eyes, day and night, without any transfer of texture. It is available in two bright red and gold shades: Mystic Red and Mystic Gold. I have swatched the shade Mystic Gold. This dual-purpose tool is easy to use, and staying power is nice. The Mystic Gold shade is a taupe lined with gold.

I am still obsessed with how beautiful, unique, and practical Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop and Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer Powder are, which I reviewed here. And hard to divide my attention between the Teint Couture Shimmer Powder and this new fall collection, I am getting over excited to share the Givenchy Midnight Skies 2018 Fall Collection with you guys. Givenchy Fall 2018 collection is a collection full of mystery, sensuality, and temptation. Nicolas Degennes, art director for Givenchy took inspiration from the famous black dress created by Hubert de Givenchy for Audrey Hepburn in the classic movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s“. Inspired by the exquisite beauty and elegance of the Black Dress, Givenchy Midnight Skies Collection of red and silver shades complement each other and together create an autumn image in red tones.

Givenchy Midnight Skies Prisme Quatuor

Givenchy Midnight Skies Prisme Quatuor is the star of the collection and is a must-have. Red, the guiding thread of the collection, offers an intense and luminous chromatic spectrum. The evolving colors of its natural pigments, there is transition journey from orange to pink to red. The metallic hues ensure perfect coverage and incredible shine in an endless reflection.

The palette reveals three mother-of-pearl black shades contrasting with a powerful, ultra-sensual red inspired by the rich sequins used on Haute Couture places.

First of all, the case of this Prisme Quatuor eye palette illustrates the strong bond between Givenchy Makeup and Couture, the intricate details on the case are simply an amazing work of art.

The formula is easy to apply, comfortable to wear and is long lasting. The texture is smooth and creamy, glides easily on the lids. It is easily buildable from a simple subtle hint of color to the full glam intense color. I am so stunned with how gorgeous the shades are, I am definitely be wearing them with the subtle hint of color and shine during the day and more intense during the evening. The four radiant shades in this eye palette are silver-gray, olive green, brown and red, which are all unique and thus overall a must-have palette.

Givenchy Midnight Skies Noir Interdit

Givenchy Noir Interdit Limited Edition is the same amazing formula and packaging which has a bendable brush (shade black reviewed here) in a new limited edition shade Dark Red No. 2. I am so in love with the Noir Interdit Mascara that repurchased the original black shade twice, I still have a backup and this new shade is so gorgeous, I am already obsessed with it. The brush is bendable up to 90 degrees allowing the mascara brush to penetrate deeper into the lashes, extending each lash to the perfect state of the thickest curl.

Givenchy Midnight Skies 2018 Fall Collection

The more it is applied, the more it reinforces the voluptuous shade of the lashes. The texture of the mascara is waxy and is long-lasting, for me stays on all day without smudging or falling off. It is enriched with black rose oil and a fortifying vitamin which brings nourishment and lash-enhancing properties. The shade Dark red No. 2 is Dark Burgundy Red. The red mother-of-pearl particles create a sleek, eye-catching, and radiant glow.

Givenchy has launched two new unique highlighters, taking forward their complexion expertise and the latest technological advances with Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop and Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer Powder. With fluid and compact textures, they are both practical, beautiful, and must-have products this season, all thanks to Nicolas Degennes with the excellent work and creativity.

Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop and Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer powder

Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop

Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop is an illuminating base which gives a dewy finish, not limited to as a base but is a multi-use product to highlight, freshen the face, and illuminate it. The formula has light, pearly texture with very fine coated particles and pigments. The packaging is in a metallic bottle in the same shade as the product inside. the dual pipette precisely delivers the desired amount of product, while its brush tip enables the targeted application.

For a fresh, natural, and subtle effect, a few drops can be blended with a little day cream or foundation before applying to the face with fingers or with a brush.

For a targetted dewy effect, it can be applied after applying the foundation on the areas of the face that typically catches the light, like the high points of the face.

‘Using the brush, add touches to the inner corner of the eye then pat with the tip of your finger. This is perfect for highlighting the eyes. If you have dark circles, add a tiny drop under the eye and blend with the tips of your fingers.’, says Nicolas Degennes.

The Teint Couture Radiant Drop is available in two universal shades – a soft pink and a subtle gold to give the skin abundant radiance. I have swatched the shade Pink in the picture below.

Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer Powder

Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer Powder is a powder highlighter with a shimmering finish. It contains no talc and has no textured effect. It leaves a silky veil of extremely fine pearly powder and transparent illuminating pigments. The formula is buildable and gives a sparkling effect of variable intensity that catches the light. The black lacquered box of this limited edition powder has a compact gel with a raised motif inspired by Couture lace. The ‘zero texture’ formula lends itself to layering in order to redesign curves, blur imperfections, and provide the desired dose of radiance.

It can be applied on the face with a blusher brush or even a finger to blend it on the cheekbones. On the body, it can be used on the cleavage or top of shoulders to create a silky veil that blends with the nude skin.

‘For an ultra modern lined effect, take up a small quantity of product using a narrow brush and apply it on the edges of the lips, add lipstick than a last touch of highlighter to the central curve.’, says Nicolas Degennes.

Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop and Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer powder

Teint Couture Shimmer Powder is available in two radiant shades – Pink and gold, Pink suits fair skin tones for a translucent complexion while Gold adds a sunny radiance to the deeper complexions. I have swatched shade Pink in the picture below.

Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop and Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer powder

I have tested and swatched shade Pink for both Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop and Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer powder. At first, I thought these will not look natural or suit my medium tan skin tone but as I used them, they look very natural and do blend in nicely into the skin without looking too pinky or ashy on skin tone. The staying power is nice, stays on for a whole day. Intensity can be built as needed, I use minimal for everyday wear and go heavy handed for the night. But I am very much interested in checking out and comparing the Gold shade in both as they are more inclined towards deeper complexions. They both are worth checking out and as the holiday season is approaching, these are definitely going to add some extra shine and sparkle to your holidays and to your mood as they are adding to mine. Givenchy Teint Couture Radiant Drop and Givenchy Teint Couture Shimmer powder are available at Holt Renfrew and Sephora Canada.
