Sisley-Paris Le Phyto-Gloss Collection is the newest launch from the brand and was much awaited by all the lip gloss lovers like me who expect much more from it than a normal lip gloss. The newest Le Phyto-Gloss formula incorporates both intensive lip care and mirror-like shine in one, which means it hydrates, nourishes, and protects the lips while giving a beautiful finish.

“The key ingredients in Sisley-Paris Le Phyto-gloss contain an ‘Oleo-Beauty’ complex which is a combination of three oils that provide an enveloping, non-sticky texture, and ultra-glossy lips. It also provides a shaping effect on the lips while giving volume and shine. The ‘Mother-of-pearl particles’ help to accentuate shine and iridescence. The Hydrobooster complex composed of Hyaluronic Acid and Konjac Glucomannans infuses skin with water and help maintain hydration, plumps, and smooths.”, per Sisley Paris website.

The formula is very hydrating, not sticky at all, has a little substance to it – I would not say it is light or is thick but the consistency is just perfect without being light or heavy but is definitely not sticky. The gloss does provide a plumping effect on the lips with a little sensation that looks even more noticeable with the glossy finish. The ultra-creamy and silky formula blend nicely without accentuating the lines. The formula is very soothing, comfortable, and nourishing for my dry lips. The high precision tip of the gloss works perfectly to apply and define the lips easily.

It works great both as a top coat on lipstick for an intense shiny lacquered effect and even when just worn alone. Nowadays, as I am working from home and sitting in front of my laptop all day, taking breaks occasionally, I keep Le Phyto-Gloss on my desk and have been reaching out for it a lot. I notice that my lips are much healthier and nourished even after the gloss has worn off. It does not just work momentarily while it is on the lips but even after that – it repairs the lips. My lips are much soft and supple since I started using these.

The packaging as you see is so beautiful – gold case with transparent stripes that reveal the colour inside. The shimmery finish is not chunky or overly unreal shimmer but is a very practical and acceptable shimmer for everyday wear. Both the shimmery and shiny versions are very comfortable and perfect for day or nightwear.

Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris has launched new hair care and hair styling products this fall – Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris Restructuring Nourishing Balm and Hair Brushes. Both the launches are just in time for fall when hair needs extra nourishment and care. Many factors including the external factors like stress, pollution, fatigue, and chemical treatments, all impact the hair quality and health – the intensity depending upon the type of hair and what haircare products are being used to care for hair. If not cared properly, hair is prone to breakage, split ends, and become dull and lifeless.

Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris new launches Restructuring Nourishing Balm, The Radiance Brush, The Blow-dry Brush 2 review

Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris Restructuring Nourishing Balm is a pre-shampoo balm that intensely cares for damaged and dehydrated hair. The texture is rich and melts, when it comes in contact with hands, into a sensory oil, making it easy to apply to hair and to penetrate into the lengths and tips. The balm has a nourishing complex that is concentrated in natural oils and these natural oils action on three levels to treat, regenerate, and enhance the hair fibre. It is not to be applied on the scalp.

Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris new launches Restructuring Nourishing Balm, The Radiance Brush, The Blow-dry Brush 2 review

I have been using it as a weekly ritual as well as a little pick me up during the week. I feel my hair are soft, shinier, nourished, frizz-free, and healthy instead of the normal dry and coarse hair during the week. They are much more manageable then they were before. My hair look and feel stronger and luscious without being weighed down or oily. I would suggest to keep in mind how much of the Restructuring Balm you apply, based on your hair type and volume. For me personally, I have had the experience before to start with the minimal product and then build it up, which worked for me in this case too. I do not go overboard but apply minimal and notice the results during the day or days. A little less than pea size amount works for my medium wavy hair.

The Restructuring Balm can be used in 3 ways per the official instructions:

Overnight Treatment (8 hours – go to bed with the balm on the lengths and tips of hair, and rinse out in the morning. It does not stains the pillow case. Also, remember not to apply on the scalp).

Express Treatment ( 30 minutes – apply 30 minutes to 1 hour before washing the hair)

One month course of treatment (Applied once a week to help with nourishment, number of splits)

Now coming to the basics for hair care, the first and foremost thing you can do for your hair and scalp is brush them. Brushing helps spread sebum to the tips of the hair for nourishment, stimulate micro-circulation in the scalp, clears impurities, and dead skin cells. It is so important to brush the hair and scalp and even more important to use the right comb or hair and right way. Because using any harsh or hard material on the scalp and hair in a incorrect way can weaken and damage the hair and scalp. I am so glad to be using and now sharing the recently launched Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris Hair Brushes which I am totally in love with. my scalp and hair love how gentle they are. The brushes are comprised of wild boar bristles, which also contain keratin and are similar to the composition of hair. The supple bristles with the blue ball tips help to stimulate the scalp. The handles are specially made of schima wood for its toughness and beautiful finish. I have The Radiance Brush and The Blow Dry Brush 2 on rotation.

The Radiance Brush is suitable for everyday use, for all hair lengths and textures. It gently detangles and styles the hair. I use it morning and night, my must-have hair rituel everyday to keep my hair and scalp healthy. And one thing that works for me is brushing my hair with a gentle scalp massage before bed makes me sleep so well during the night. Let me know if you have tried it and if it works for you too.

The Blow Dry Brush 2 is a blow-dry brush that is suitable for long hair due to its medium circumference. It works as a perfect staple to style hair while blow-drying – be it waves, straight, or curly finish. I use it every weekend when I am blow drying my hair, which is less than normal, I tend to be lazy now since I started working from home.

I remove any remaining hair from the brush with my fingers or hair brush cleaner tool after each use while I wash my hair brushes every weekend with a gentle shampoo or soap. Then I rinse it and pat it on the towel, then leave the brush to dry upside down.

Overall, these three launches have become my hair care essentials and highly recommend checking them out. Sisley Paris products are available at luxury retailers including Holt Renfrew, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom. It is also available at Sisley- Paris.ca.

I always stress the most on the cleansing when it comes to skincare. You can use even the best of the serums, creams or face oils but if your skin is not clean and ready for the products to be applied and absorbed, they will not be beneficial. The first step in a skincare routine, whether you are very much into skincare or not, is cleansing. By clean skin, I mean the dirt, makeup, extra sebum produced by the skin is removed so that the skin is ready to take benefit from the serum or moisturizer or any product you are going to apply next. Whether I use makeup or not, I always double cleanse in the evening. The reason for double cleansing even when I have not applied makeup during the day is that I apply sunscreen every single day and I treat it in the category which needs double cleansing – moreover, it gives me satisfaction that my skin is clean and also I notice negligible breakouts. For mornings, I only do single cleanse. Sisley Paris has launched 2 new cleansing products Sisley Paris Triple-Oil Balm Makeup Remover & Cleanser and Sisley Paris Eye and Lip Gel Makeup Remover. Both the new launches work very well with Sisley Paris Radiance Foaming Cream Cleanser which I have been loving since it launched last year.

I noticed that I did not share about Sisley Paris Radiance Foaming Cream Cleanser on the blog yet but I did many times on my Instagram, I know many of you love it already. Sisley Paris Radiance Foaming Cream Cleanser is a very gentle, non-drying smooth foam cleanser which transforms into cream when massaged into the skin. It dissolves the impurities, dirt, makeup, and sebum to cleanse the skin while keeping the skin comfortable and balanced. There is no feeling of tightness or dryness but the skin feels clean, smooth, soft, and radiant. I have used it for a few months now and love it so much.

Sisley Paris Triple-Oil Balm Makeup Remover & Cleanser is a solid yet melting butter-like balm that becomes silky, lightweight oil texture upon application. I have been really impressed with how smooth it is and how it instantly melts into the skin while dissolving all the makeup without irritating the skin. Despite the balm-like texture, it does not feels heavy on the skin and nor does it breaks me out, even in the summer. I apply a small amount on my dry face and then massage gently on full face and neck, including eye area. The formula transforms into a silky oil when massaged. It transforms into a soft milky emulsion when a little water is applied and massaged, then it removes quickly when rinsed without feeling greasy. I do prefer using my washcloth to remove it once I am done massaging it. I feel it more relaxing overall. I did not feel any drying effect or any congestion or irritation since I started using it.

For your reference, I have combination skin prone to congestion. The packaging as you see is very beautiful, co-ordinates with the rest of the cleansers in this collection. There is a complimentary spatula included with the product for ease of use and application without dipping a finger inside the tub every time. Overall, a lovely experience for the first cleanse to remove makeup, sunscreen, excess sebum, build-up, pollution, and what not from the day.

Sisley Paris Eye and Lip Gel Makeup Remover is an eye and lip makeup remover in a very soothing gel formula that also refreshes and nourishes the area. The formula is cooling and gel-like while being lightweight, gentle, and non-greasy at the same time. I apply this gel formula on my eyelids including lashes and lips with my fingers, massage gently in circular motions, and then wipe it off gently with the cotton pad. Or I apply it straight to the cotton pad and then gently wipe over the eye, from top to bottom, and the lips.

Once removed, the eyes contour feels refreshed, soothed, and comfortable, moisturized, and toned. I have used it to remove even my waterproof mascara and it works, I make sure to apply directly on my eyelids and lashes and massage a little extra than normal before wiping it off with the cotton pad. Even the eyelashes feel shinier and soft after using this Eye and Lip Gel makeup remover. I am really liking it, very unique formula and experience.

I am really enjoying these three cleansing products in my skincare routine and would highly recommend you to check them out. Sisley Paris products are available at luxury retailers including Holt Renfrew, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom. It is also available at Sisley- Paris.ca.
